Rihm \u2013 Nachtwach<br \/>\n\u2022 other works according to participants choice<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Trombones and choral singers have one thing in common: they usually do not appear individually. The trombone academy takes this circumstance into account and places chamber music at the center of the academy week. In addition to the development of various key works of trombone ensemble literature, several works for choir and trombone are rehearsed in collaboration with the Conductors and Choral Academy, which is led by Prof. Georg Gr\u00fcn.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily private lessons with one of the instructors<\/li>\n<li>Study of key works of trombone quartet literature<\/li>\n<li>Daily rehearsals in the large trombone ensemble and trombone octet<\/li>\n<li>Development of the above mentioned works for choir and trombones<\/li>\n<li>Large final concert together with the Conductors and Choral Academy with recording by the Saarl\u00e4ndische Rundfunk<\/li>\n<li>If interested, lessons on historical instruments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Target group<\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Trumpet Academy is aimed at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students in trombone or baroque trombone who want to get closer to the goal of a professional trombonist career through intensive work in the field of chamber music<\/li>\n<li>Young trombonists with ambitions for a university degree in trombone or baroque trombone<\/li>\n<li>Already existing trombone ensembles (trio to octet), who would like to benefit from the many years of experience of the &#8220;Trombone Unit Hannover&#8221; lecturers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Application procedure<\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Completed application form (web form) &#8211; link<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tabular CV<\/li>\n<li>Letter of motivation<\/li>\n<li>For individual applications: Current video recording with a solo performance as a soloist (maximum 10 minutes, two pieces from different eras)<\/li>\n<li>For ensembles: Current video recording with a performance of the ensemble (maximum 10 minutes, two pieces from different eras)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Complete application documents should be uploaded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hfmsaar-summerschool.de\/en\/\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Application deadline: <strong>30 June 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Selection of participants<\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The faculty of the trombone academy will select among the applicants up to 24 trombonists. Applications from existing ensembles are preferably selected.<\/p>\n<p>After the selection of the participants by the artistic director, the applicants will be notified in writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Active participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The active participants will receive a letter of invitation together with two forms for image and music rights as well as a form for participation confirmation. All three must be completed and signed back within the specified time limit. The enrollment is binding after transfer of the enrollment fee due for the respective academy (see below).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Passive participants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is also the possibility of passive participation in the Trumpet Academy. This must be stated in the application form. Passive participants will receive a form for participation confirmation. This must be completed and signed back within the specified period. The enrollment is binding after transfer of the enrollment fee due for the respective academy (see below).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Costs<\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>For the active and passive participants, only administrative costs of 75, &#8211; \u20ac will be charged (the amount includes the cost of a daily hot lunch for the entire duration of the Academy).
