Active participation

  • Completed application form (web form)

  • Letter of motivation
  • If possible, a recent video recording showing the applicant as a conductor (no back view, max. 15 minutes).

The complete application documents are to be uploaded online through the web form.

Selection of participants

Based on the applications received for active participation, up to 12 candidates* will be invited to the preliminary audition. The applicants will receive the results of this selection by email by August 10, 2023. The audition will take place on the first day of the Summer School (Sunday, August 27th, 2023) at 6 pm. Among the pre-conducting candidates, 8 conductors will then be admitted for active participation. Candidates who are not selected will have the opportunity to continue attending the Conducting Academy as passive participants.

P.S. The participation fees are to be paid in part (100€) only after invitation to participate until August 10, 2023

Costs

Active participation

For the active participants selected by the preconference there will be a participation fee of 400 Euro (no meals and no accommodation will be provided).

Passive participation

Passive participants will have to pay 100 Euro (no meals and no accommodation will be provided).

For the application, both for active and passive participation, 100 € are to be transferred to the following bank account by August 15th, 2023 at the latest and after confirmation of possible participation:

Applicants* who receive a positive result and thus an invitation are asked to transfer 100 € to the above account by August 15, 2023. The active participants* who are selected after the preliminary audition will have to pay the remaining 300€ (for the active participation) on site.
